A paper from the Hong Kong Volunteer Centre, presented at the IAVE conference.  The group has, over the past year or two, been engaging more actively in public issues related to volunteerism.  The group’s involvement in the promotion of volunteerism is presented here in 3 cases: volunteer safety & protection, government consulatation on public service broadcasting, and governemnt consultation on constitutional development.  Volunteer Action for Human Development
